ArtSea Gallery and Event Calendar

The ArtSea Gallery is situated along the beautiful waterfront walkway in Sidney, BC. From March through December, the ArtSea Gallery is open to visitors 7 days a week, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (hours vary slightly with each exhibition).

Salish Sea Lantern Festival
August 16-22, 2026

A celebration of art, light, culture, and community. Join ArtSea every August for this highly anticipated event.

ArtSea Studio Tour
October 3 & 4, 2026

The ArtSea Studio Tour is one of the longest-running self-guided tours on the Island.
In 2025, 44 artists and artisans participated with more than 7000 studio visits over one weekend.

The Dianne Cross Award for the Arts is awarded each year to a graduating student or students from SD63 that will be pursuing the Arts.

at the ArtSea Gallery

While visiting the ArtSea Gallery, be sure to check out the ArtSea Area (East end of the Gallery) to view the work of local Indigenous artists, including a raven carving by Coast Salish Carver, Tom La Fortune. Also view “Raven and the Eyes of Stolen Children” by Kathleen Rose Sears and read the personal experience and history shared by Kathleen, or browse through a hard copy version of the SENĆOŦEN: A Dictionary of the Saanich Language
