Get Creative
March 17th – April 14th, 2024
- Purchase a Garden Door kit from Panorama Recreation Centre or Greenglade Community Centre. Kits include a wooden template and paint set for decorating (created locally by McTavish Academy of Art).
- $18.50 (plus tax) per kit (family/ friends entry)
- $52 (plus tax) per kit (business entry)
- Assemble and decorate with your family, friends, or co-workers using the supplies provided, or add your own elements. Creativity is encouraged!
- Crafting Day – April 6th 10-2pm at McTavish Academy of Art (optional): Looking for a space to get creative? Reserve your space by April 2nd to participate in a fun day of crafting with your family and friends.
- Drop off your creation at Panorama by April 14th to add to the World Art Day display. Participants can collect their creation on May 15th – it’s your to keep.
Display your Creation
April 15th – May 15th, 2024
- Beginning on April 15th – World Art Day, community creations will be on display in the lobby of Panorama Recreation Centre.
- Receive 2 FREE single drop-in passes for Panorama when you bring your completed creation to Panorama and add it to the World Art Day display: April 15th – May 15th.
- Winners will receive a prize! The public will vote for their favourite creation.
- Event proceeds support a great cause: the Salish Sea Lantern Festival.
- Your creation is yours to keep! Collect your from Panorama May 15th from Panorama. Makes a great addition to your garden, or a lovely gift for a loved one.
