The Salish Sea Lantern Festival is an annual celebration of art, culture, light and community.
Salish Sea Week of Lanterns
- During the summer: attend a lantern-building workshop, watch a free, online lantern-building tutorial, or create custom lanterns with your friends and family.
- During the Week of Lanterns: display your lanterns at work, home, or in your neighbourhood and take a tour of the lantern installations in your community using the online, interactive map.

- Bring your lanterns to Beacon Park in Sidney
- 6:30pm enjoy live entertainment, community lantern creations, and interactive costumed characters.
- Join the community lantern parade.
