SPACG - Group Application - ArtSea Community Arts Council

This application is appropriate for local GROUPS, collectives, or organizations that would like to present arts and cultural programming for the Saanich Peninsula community.

Please ensure you have read through the guidelines and read through the entire application prior to starting the application process to ensure that you have all required information. You will be asked to attach information about your program budget as part of the application. You are welcome to attach your own program budget, or you can download a budget template.

The Saanich Peninsula Arts and Culture Grant (SPACG) program provides funding to support local individuals, groups, collectives, and organizations. Funding is available for initiatives (projects, programs, presentations, training) with an arts and cultural focus, that are designed to benefit the residents of the Saanich Peninsula.Funding for the Peninsula Arts and Culture Grants is provided by the municipalities on the Saanich Peninsula, including: The Town of Sidney, The District of North Saanich.

SECTION 3 – DECLARATION
Applicant Agreement: I the applicant, confirm that (please read and check ALL items, to indicate your understanding and agreement to the terms of the grant funding):*
- This group/organization holds a current ArtSea Membership
- The initiative includes a component that serves or benefits the residents of the Saanich Peninsula (Town of Sidney, The District of North Saanich, The District of Central Saanich, The WSANEC First Nation)..
- The initiative has an arts and culture focus.
- The initiative includes content that is created/owned by the applicant, or is approved for use as part of the program.
- Funding requested will be used for the stated project activities that fall within the project dates (see the “Dates and Deadlines” section of the Program Guidelines).
- Funds have not been requested directly from the municipalities of North Saanich, Central Saanich, or the Town of Sidney to support the proposed program.
- A final report will be submitted to ArtSea Community Arts Council within 12 months of the project conclusion, using the reporting template provided on the ArtSea website. Reports will describe how the program components served the residents of the Saanich Peninsula.
- I have read and agree to the guidelines and understand that funding is not guaranteed; this application will be adjudicated by a committee, using preset indicators. All funding decisions are final.
