My art process usually starts out freely and intuitively, using acrylic paint and mixed media. Various forms of collage play a large role in my paintings. Recently the influence of my First Nation’s heritage is also showing up more in my work. Although these shapes are not traditional motifs, I still identify with this part of me that makes my work unique. This, in combination with my love of nature guide me in my practice.
