Diana Farrell

Diana Farrell is a native Victorian with roots deeply planted on Southern Vancouver Island.  With family who were among the early settlers on Salt Spring Island, this deep sense of belonging and place anchor and infuse her work with a calming stillness and peace.

Diana is predominately a self taught artist who  loves to learn from other artists.  On most days, she can be found in her studio creating art in some form or another. Diana focuses on furthering her artistic journey by viewing life from different perspectives, spending time with fellow artists and using her passion for art to express her “inside out”.

Diana finds intense joy in the challenge of creating realist portraits, capturing moments in time, and depicting bird life.  She works primarily in pastels and oils.
