Initially self-taught, Dyan began attending workshops in 1989 and has continued to do so over the ensuing years. With her favourite medium of watercolour, she enjoys a varied subject matter. She finds inspiration in nature, the animal kingdom, legendary characters and critters, colorful landscapes and has recently begun an exploration of old world deities and how connective everything can be. Her art is transformative, inspirational and seeks those connections.
