Inspired by unexplored territories, Jennifer seeks solace in the ocean breeze and forest trails, her camera always in hand. Her photography has been recognized with awards from Nature Canada and as the “Best photo in show” at the prestigious, juried Sooke Fine Arts Show.
Through her lens, Jennifer invites you to marvel at the breathtaking panoramas and abundant wildlife of the British Columbia coast and beyond. Prepare to Embark on an enchanting journey into a realm of untamed beauty and captivating storytelling through her unique artistic vision.
Born in Toronto, Christy went to the University of Guelph, graduating with a degree in wildlife Biology. Christy has always had a love of wildlife. Working summer jobs as a zoo keeper at the Metro Toronto Zoo.
After graduation Christy moved to BC and studied the affects of logging on small rodent populations on Vancouver Island and also mapped fish populations in the interior of BC.
Christy has lived in North Saanich for 25 years. Exploring the outdoors has always been her passion and she loves to capture moments in nature that others would not always see.
Christy has been featured in Sea Side Magazine, British Columbia Magazine and Canadian Geographic. She has won medals and merit awards in competitions with the Canadian Association for Photographic Art and the Toronto Salon
