Hues by Hughes
June 5, 2026 – June 11, 2026
Show Times: 10am – 4pm, daily June 5-11
Exhibition Details: Sisters Adrienne Hughes and Liz Hughes share a love of art, nature, and the language of colour – but their creative expressions dance to different rhythms. Liz, a mixed media abstract artist, approaches each piece like a visual excavation – layering collage, building textures, peeling back surfaces, and weaving in traces of her own photography. Her work becomes a conversation between lived experiences and materials. Working with acrylics and oils, Adrienne intuitively paints not just what she sees, but what she senses. Her canvases conjure a world just beneath the surface – where memory, mood and landscape blur into something wholly her own. Together, their work creates a striking contrast: two artistic visions nurtured by shared roots, each flourishing in their own distinct ways.
