An evening of memoir with noted authors, Yasuko Thanh and Carla Funk
Born and raised in Vanderhoof, B.C., Carla Funk is the author of five books of poetry and the former poet laureate for the City of Victoria. Carla now works as an editor and manuscript consultant and leads private writing classes in her home. Every Little Scrap and Wonder is a memoir about childhood in a small town.
Yasuko Thanh is an award-winning novelist and short story writer. With her latest book, Mistakes to Run With, Thanh turns to nonfiction for the first time, writing about her turbulent coming-of-age in B.C.
