Margaret McIntosh

Margaret has been creating with clay for about 8 years. She gravitated to hand building because of the freedom it allows in creating unique pieces that feature beautiful textures and a range of surface decorating techniques. She also enjoys making pottery that is sculptural and often whimsical. Nature provides the subject for much of Margaret’s work, and inspires her use of natural botanical and wooden elements.

Margaret is a member of the South Vancouver Island Potters’ Guild, and participates in their annual show and sale. Previously she was a member of the Pine Tree Potters Guild, in Aurora, Ontario, where she participated in numerous classes, workshops, sales, and juried exhibitions.
