2025 Lantern Festival - Food Vendor Application - ArtSea Community Arts Council

The Salish Sea Lantern Festival is a celebration of art, light, community and culture. If you have been invited to participate as a food vendor, we welcome you to learn more and submit your application to provide food services.

Salish Sea Lantern Festival Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025
Event Time: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Event Location: Beacon Park and Sidney Waterfront Walkway, 2554 Beacon Avenue. Food vendors set up on the road behind the Beacon Bandshell – the road will be blocked off to vehicle traffic. Participation Fee: $100 (due at the time of application)

Indemnity Agreement

Please read and check ALL BOXES to indicate that your business, and all individuals involved or accompanying the business, have read and agree to the following terms and conditions:*

1. Waiver of Claims: To waive any and all claims against the Town of Sidney, the event organizers, sponsors, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers (collectively “the Releasees”) except for claims arising from the negligence or intentional misconduct of any of the Releasees.

2. Release of Liability: To release the Releasees from any and all liability for loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred in connection with participation in the event, from any cause whatsoever, except where caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of the Releasees.

3. Indemnity: To hold harmless and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liability for property damage or personal injury caused to any third party as a result of the Participant’s involvement in the event, except where caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of the Releasees.

4. Binding Effect: This Agreement shall be effective and binding upon the Participant and their heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns in the event of death or incapacity.
