New Beginnings

A Victoria-based artist, Renate MacKenzie shares her creative energies in her paintings using Watercolour and Oil mediums. Although she has been an artist for many years, since joining the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2020 her work can now be enjoyed more broadly. Happily, her work has been juried into a number of local venues and in the Canadian Federation Gallery.
And Carolyn Showler’s odyssey in creating fine silver and beadwork jewellery began almost 30 years ago. Over the years, she has studied silver work in Mexico and more recently learned the art of filigree at the Mendocino School of Art. Today her love of handmade silver and beaded jewellery continues to inspire her.
